All I Need To Know about Insurance

We have our own business and I just got the health insurance quotes today. In order to have health insurance it will cost us the same as our mortgage payments. We budgeted in our mortgage payments as if they were to be our largest payment. I guess we were wrong. Is it that way for everyone?
The quotes we got today were just for me, my husband, and our youngest child.

probably hillary clinton, she's really big about universal health care. she likes the idea of making it free for everyone, if she can.

Hilary and Edwards will fine you for not having insurance. Obama is trying to make it affordable, but will fine you if your kid is not uninsured under the age of 18. There it is point blank. Universal is not the way to go because all the other countries that have the citizens aren't happy about it.

Think of it this way: do you honestly think the government can administer healthcare in a way that is more efficient than the private sector? Remember, this is the U.S. federal government we're talking about.

Of course, watch your business taxes and income taxes rise as well.

Dennis Kucinich. He's really the only person who has a legitimate plan for universal health care, one that provides full coverage for all legal residents of the United States.

We have a major problem with health insurance now, which, was created from government policies. Look back to legislation passed by the nixon administration, namely the requirements on employers of corporations with more than 25 people. The government began the requirements of HMO's and PPO's. This began the degrade of healthcare in America. With these requirements, doctor-patient relationships began to diminsh, and focus was taken away from cost. Moreover, litigation with regards to malpractice sky-rocketed - which initiated "test for everything" policies. Routine injuries began requiring MRIs and Cat-scans. The doctors ability to be a doctor was taken away in fear of lawsuits. So, until we reject HMOs and PPO's and regain a true doctor patient relationship, any system is due to fail. Not to mention, if your government manages your insurance, you lose quality and competition, thus increasing prices. Many people need to understand the underlying root causes, in order to fix a problem vs. perpetuate it further. Someone has to pay for it, rather than you paying the equivalent of a mortgage payment - it and possibly more will be taken from your taxes. I hope this helps you.

It's not the President's job to make sure other Americans pay your medical expenses.

Insurance is the reason medical care is so expensive.

Why do you think laser eye surgery prices keeps going down? Because it's not covered by insurance.
