I just need to know a figure. I am very interested in the purchse, but I don't want to pay a lot in insurance. Anyone who has one and knows their cost, or anyone who knows what the cost most likely would be, I appreciate your answer. Thanks.
Call your insurance agent. From past experience on my own vette, the rates were no more than the Ranger I owned also. I believe the rates on a vette are not that bad because usually the owners are not the irresponsable types, and when there might be an accident the bodily damaged is minimized due to the way the vehicle is built with the fiberglass body.
what insurance company will still give someone a great insurance quote even though he is taking cymbalta?
AIG has really good rates on term insurance at the moment. I don’t think that the cymbalta would cause you to get surcharged, but it will most likely prevent you from getting preferred rates. In most states that I know of, suicide isn’t covered for the first two years of the policy (and is covered after that) so depression isn’t a huge risk, especially if it’s being treated. Call around, maybe talk to some brokers who write for numerous companies. Just call and ask if you’d be surcharged or table rated due to your medication, they should be able to find out quickly for you, then you can focus on getting quotes.
Looking for house insurance. 2 companies came up with a direct quote, 2 others took all my info, then cut me off.
Call a broker. You won't be sorry when you have a problem and there is someone there to help you who is on your side.
I got a quote for my wife and me for life insurance (20 years/400K each). I would like to negotiate a better rate with the broker (assuming same coverage). Can it be done, or are the rates fixed, is there room to negotiate. we did the blood work and were offered standard rates.
Your rate can not be negotiated when the underwriting is done. If you don't like your rate, you can refuse to accept the policy within 30 days and there will be a refund of premiums.
What you can negotiate is going through different companies. Shop around. Make sure you check the financial strength ratings from AM Best!
My semi-annual auto insurance renewal is coming up. I've shopped before and I think I'm already getting a damn good rate, but still I'd like to try to get an even better rate.
I've tried both Geico and Progressive, and both quoted me over $200 higher per year than I already pay. Any other good suggestions? This would be for coverage in California.
Tried Mercury Insurance. They did not offer sufficient liability coverage for me to consider. The max they offered was 100/300/100. I currently have 250/500/100.
Try netquote.com. They give you several quotes from different companies.
Where do people get long term care health insurance quotes? I've come across many websites but was wondering if anyone has had any particularly good experiences. I did come across http://www.ltcconnects.com which appears to compare various health care providers.
The best way is to visit a local independent agent that works with several of the better companies. There are many variations of long term policies and the agent will be able to explain the differences and can find the best policy for your situation and budget. There is no extra charge using an agent.
I've heard that everytime you apply for a credit card, get insurance quotes, etc. your credit score gets lowered.
Is this true? If so, how much?
No it does not.
While insurance companies do look at a persons credit now to help set rates, this is a soft pull and has no affect on your credit score.
I am planning to buy a used car. So I began checking the insurance quotes online. I gave my personal information like Social etc. Now when I checked my credit file there are inquiries made by some insurance companies. Now my doubt is, will these effect my credit score. I am lot worried because, I have checked too many insurance quotes for the last one week. I doubt it will make my credit score fall. Please help if there is a way to rectify this.
Those should be "soft" hits (not applications for new credit) and won't affect your credit score very much. Most insurance companies do factor in credit history when determining rates.
